The USP of Cannalogue is the fact that it is a company that was founded by actual doctors, and that puts it light years ahead of many other companies in the sector. The company was founded by three friends who were intent on disrupting the healthcare industry and also helping in the transformation of the cannabis industry as a whole.

One of the brains behind Cannalogue is Dr. Mohan Cooray, who holds a degree in the Life Sciences program from the highly regarded University of Toronto. Eventually, he went on to study at the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine, and it was there that he first met his fellow co-founder Dr. Andrew Lu. The third person to come into the team and complete the team was Kregg Coutinho. He worked at The Bank of Nova Scotia for more than ten years and also possesses experience in customer service.

After having researched medical cannabis for years, the three started working on Cannalogue. Eventually, they came up with an e-commerce website that could offer customers a range of options. The name of the company was an amalgamation of cannabis and catalogue.
