Jeffrey Friedland is an emerging market pioneer -- his firm, Friedland Capital, was one of the first American investment banks to establish a presence in China -- and he is now on the front lines of the global cannabis industry.
He is the author of “Marijuana: The World’s Most Misunderstood Plant. Friedland is a founder and CEO of INTIVA Inc., which has businesses and investments in the cannabis industry in California, Colorado and Israel, an investment in two licensed marijuana producers in Canada, and an investment in Israel-based, OWC Pharmaceutical Research.
Friedland is also CEO of INTIVA BioPharma Inc., which is proceeding with pre-clinical and clinical drug development activities, in accordance with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) protocols, for several cannabinoid-based drugs.
Friedland has been an owner of two recreational marijuana stores and a cultivation facility in Colorado. Friedland is also a director of Israel-based CannRX, He is an adviser to Israel-based OWC Pharmaceutical Research (Stock Symbol: OWCP).
