Capital Raises
Transactional Activity: There was one fewer capital raise but a $46.8 million higher volume this week than in the prior week. Compared to the same week last year, five more transactions closed with a $196.6 million higher volume. The average deal size was $26.4 million this week vs. $4.8 million in the same week last year.
Cannabis stocks finished nearly flat this week, according to the Alternative Harvest ETF. The market failed to regain any of the losses from the disappointing reveal of the Schumer/Booker proposal last week.
