Aurora Cannabis

The Aurora Cannabis (ACB.TO) stock went into a bit of a meltdown in December after an analyst gave the stock a sell rating and set the target price at zero. The company’s Chief Corporate Officer Cam Battley left the company in December as well. Some speculation had emerged about a possible partnership with Coca-Cola as well but the beverage giant quickly poured water over it. After Battley’s resignation, MKM Partners’ analyst Bill Kirk lowered his price target for the Aurora stock to CA $2 from CA $3.

Fire & Flower Holdings

Fire & Flower Holdings (FAF.TO) reported its third-quarter financial results in

December and generated $13.7 million in revenues to go along with a 34.7% gross profit. In the second quarter, the revenues had been $11.1 million the gross profit stood at 36.5%. Net comprehensive income for the quarter came in at $10.2 million, which worked out to 7 cents a share. In the same quarter in 2018, Fire & Flower suffered net losses of $22.55 million or 30 cents per basic and diluted share.

Valens GroWorks Corp

Cannabis extraction company Valens GroWorks Corp (VLNS)signed an extraction as well as a white label agreement with Emerald Health Therapeutics in December. The contract is going to last for four years and Emerald will supply Valens with 10,000 kilos of hemp and cannabis biomass. Valens will also provide white label services which include mixing, filling, and formulation for different product categories of products.
