In The Clinic

The challenge all consumer product brands face today has always been what makes then unique for the Patient not the investor first, and if you are wise you can see the opportunity for both to benefit, adding value to a saturated market of brands seeking to become the next Unicorn ICO without consideration to the science. Markets are full of “Me too” products, it takes more than an inflated marketing budget, and packaging to convert a Patient to a product as we have seen time again in both the alternative and traditional spaces. The outcome is what creates loyalty, the effect Patients seek to mitigate pain points otherwise not addressed is where they go expanding the market. The industry has this incredible opportunity to aid in the process of standardization and education removing the stigma for both the Patient and Provider from every entry point benefiting all, not just some.

I often can be heard saying “Safe, Effective, Tested products will traction not only sustainability but scalability, a niche market found is where Patients find solutions”

Today thirty States have adopted progressive Cannabis legalization, certainly a staggering response demonstrating growing support of medical cannabis use and research. A new look at the future of healthcare is fusing alternative and traditional therapies integratively responding together towards the advancements of health and wellness.

KW is setting the pace for those who seek to provide care for Patients suffering in States where Cannabis has been legalized for adult use or medical use. What is clear the intentionality of the cause of KW, and I am certain the model will expand into other developing states as they grow.

I found the most valuable part of my visit with Kannabis Works was the reflection on my visit and time with the team.. I walked away with affirmation that the future of Cannabis is here. Many forward thinkers are those who choose to respond to the opportunity not because it was easy but it needed to be done paving the way for those in alternative and traditional therapies to demonstrate bipartisan approaches to what has been historically considered complementary medicine. The markets are granting opportunities fusing the future with forward innovative approaches, and Patients and Providers are embracing the new with caution yet are opening to the conversation more than ever before.

The anticipation from Patients is to get this right and ensure those who provide consumer products educate their consumers with research and education. This certainly helps to pave the way for products like Epidiolex to find a receptive audience and market.
