Richard Jia Bio

Richard Jia, a fourth-year undergraduate student studying Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior at the University of California, Davis. I am interested in sharing with the world the current progress of Cannabis research and want to provide this information to people who need it. Every day, many patients face chronic pains or illnesses but do not know about the medicinal value of Cannabis and how it could change their lives. I hope to one day be able to use the current science and research to better reach out to those who struggle with finding affordable medical treatments for issues that can easily be treated with Cannabis or Cannabis extracts. When I first learned about all of the physiological effects of Cannabis, I was blown away with why this was not at the top of our medical studies and why it was not being used as a popular remedy to current diagnoses. I want to use my undergraduate degree to go into

this field. One day, I hope to be able to advise Cannabis use to those suffering any neurological disorders or in a form of sports medicine, in the use of recovery. Cannabis has many values for our bodies and I hope to be one of the individuals there to promote the medical role it can play in our current society. New information and discoveries regarding the uses of Cannabis are released every day and progress is finally moving in the right direction. There is much work to come but I could not be more happy to have been able to work with some of the most talented individuals this field has to offer. And I can't wait to see what is to come :)
