People are rediscovering this ancient medicine that has served humankind for thousands of years. An increasing number of them are seniors. One can hope that this is the beginning of a new period, when medicine is more effective, less lethal and even grown right in one’s own home without fear of law enforcement or prohibition era stigma.
The change has already begun in short order. It won’t be long before a novelty video like grandmas smoking weed will show their age and be seen as a period piece. Instead of being funny, we may one day look back at it as a sign that we were all getting just a bit wiser and more healthy with our seniors helping lead the way.
