Veterans Ending The Stigma or V.E.T.S., was established by disabled veterans of the numerous armed forces alongside concerned civilians with military ties, upon the virtues of camaraderie, social responsibility and continued education as an effective means to achieve independence and autonomy of the individual from unique and limiting circumstances. Through practical dialogue and innovative education, V.E.T.S. aspires to resolve numerous stigmas commonly correlated with veterans, from opinions about mental illness and homelessness, to the utilization of cannabis for conditions like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Chronic Pain.

V.E.T.S. has only been established since August 2016; however, in that short time they have met with many Ohio State Representatives, Senators, as well as both the state medical and pharmacy boards in order to offer solutions to veteran issues.
