I started researching, testing, growing and extracting different strains that were high in both tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and CBD to help my now 13 year old daughter who has been diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome which is a severe form of epilepsy. The countless hours of research and the Dr. Sanjay Gupta CNN documentary lead me to Colorado where I met the Stanley Brothers and discovered Charlotte's Web™. Frustrated by legal limitations and restrictions for safe access and inspired by the success of Charlotte Figi with CBD oil, I quit my career and got to work. My other company, Greenquest Management LLC, is now in charge of distribution of the Charlotte’s Web™ products in California. I also helped establish The Realm of Caring California Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation which helps thousands of patients and families offering free resources and services such as financial assistance, grants to families who can't afford treatments, in addition to working with the medical community to try CBD and document its effects on many different conditions.
Emily (my daughter) is almost completely pharmaceutical free and has had a 70% reduction in seizures. Our efforts have been featured in NBC, KTLA, Time Magazine, National Geographic, NPR, The Post, Tribune and many others.
