and policy in the medical use of cannabis.

4. To further the recruitment of medical graduates and able physicians willing

to recommend cannabis to patients.

5. To maintain and advance the highest possible ideals and service standards

in the education, practice and research in the medical use of cannabis.

I am also the Florida representative for Doctors For Cannabis Regulation. We believe that the:

1. Use of cannabis by healthy adults is generally benign, making its

prohibition unnecessary.

2. Cannabis is far less harmful for adults than alcohol and tobacco, which are

both legal because of the impracticality of prohibiting so-called “soft drug”.

3. Cannabis can be harmful to minors, but prohibition doesn’t prevent

children and teens from accessing the drug.

4. The burden of cannabis prohibition falls disproportionately upon

communities of color and the nation’s poor.

I am also the Medical Director of a cannabis organization in Florida. Due to that position, I am unable to officially recommend cannabis, but I continue my cannabis consultations and education.
