Allow me to introduce...
Hello,
My name is Pshondra James. I'm 45 years young and from North Carolina. I am the mother to two beautiful angels, Myecia Abri and Aric Isaiah James. My husband could not take the death of our son and left me in the hospital holding him. I was left to pick up the pieces alone and devastated. My life was forever changed. That was in 2004 and it wasn't until 2011 that I discovered I was fighting a rare genetic illness called Ehlers Danlos III with vascular crossover, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), MACD, and migraines along with other comorbid illnesses. It has caused complete hearing loss in my left ear, several gastrointestinal issues, heart problems and severe daily pain. I can't remember what it feels like to wake up and go without everything aching in my body. It has made me change how I live my life. I had to leave corporate America due to my disability, but in spite of it all, my life is still good.
In 2012, I was hospitalized a number of times due to issues with eating. I was unable to keep solid food down and it seemed like I choked on everything including air. My doctors wanted to place a feeding tube but I refused. I knew there had to be another option and that is where Cannabis came into the picture. I started using whole plant Cannabis oil and suddenly I was able to eat and keep down food more
and more each day. I also realized that I no
longer needed some of the medication that
I was taking. I knew then that I wanted to
become an activist. I want to make a
difference helping save the lives of others!
