As co-founders of the Holistic Cannabis Academy, a digital training platform focused on holistic cannabis education. Our goal has been to train health professionals on integrating cannabis with lifestyle medicine. We believe this holistic approach results in better patient outcomes and an avenue for expanding one’s scope of practice while generating more income and greater career satisfaction.
Before taking the deep dive as a cannabis start-up, we examined the existing education landscape. Sure, there are other online courses for physicians, budtenders and cultivators, but none speak to the needs of the various allied health professional. We’re talking health coaches, nutrition coaches, dietitians, energy medicine healers, reiki masters, yoga instructors, massage therapists, nurse educators, addiction counselors, mental health and social workers, aromatherapists,
chiropractors, acupuncturists, naturopathic doctors, doctors of osteopathic medicine and anyone else who already practices in a so-called alternative or complementary modality. Let’s face it: these are the people who spend time talking and educating their clients.
