Mr. Remis owns and operates YourCannaCFO, a 100% dedicated canna accounting firm helping cannabis, cbd and hemp clients nationwide. Mr. Remis has over 25 years of combined CFO, accounting, audit, tax and technology consulting experience. Mr. Remis is the Chairman of the Audit Committee and Member of the Board of Directors of West Valley National Bank, a cannabis financial institution serving the Arizona and Las Vegas markets. Mr. Remis’s career included positions with InnSuites Hospitality Trust (NYSE AMERICAN: IHT), Deloitte & Touche and Jefferson Wells. Mr. Remis has a Master of Science in Information Management from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Economic Decision Sciences from the University of California, San Diego. In February 1997, Mr. Remis became a CPA and was admitted to practice in the State of Arizona. He also holds a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from the Information Systems Audit and Controls Association (ISACA). Mr. Remis is President of the Financial Executives International Arizona Chapter and has previously served as President of the local Arizona chapter of Information Security Audit and Control .
