All events are run under the rules of athletics. 2. Age groups are taken from 1st September 2018. This is always difficult for students to understand especially if they are still only 12 at the moment yet have been placed in the Under 15 age group. This will have been because their next birthday will fall before 1st September 2017. Therefore they will be 13 on 1st September and are thus in the older age group—U15 not U13! 3. In the shuttle relay teams shall be mixed and made up from all age groups. These should be equal to the maxi- mum number of athletes available in the smallest team. 4. The Graded Races can be seen on page 4. 5. It is hoped that everyone will run in the 800m races. There are points for all finishers so long as their time falls within that which might be reasonable to expect if a reasonable amount of effort has been put into the race. 6. Only ONE FIELD EVENT per competitor. 7. Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in all events except the relays.
