Stage 9 - Why bother?
Ham Gate to Kingston Gate - let’s walk but not raise money?

Fourteen-year-old Abbie, from the
Norwich area, is fighting grade 2 diffuse
astrocytoma, a type of brain tumour.
Recently she has spent several weeks in America on
proton treatment, hoping to improve on her
condition as sadly her tumour is inoperable.

Coming back to the UK hasn’t been easy for Abbie,
as most people would have assumed that she is now
cancer free. Despite this, Abbie is showing
enormous positivity and determination –she
returns with a very insightful view on her condition
and is taking it upon herself to educate those
around her!Abbie has been managing some short
days in school but she gets tired very quickly.

When she needs time to recover from activities she likes to relax
by watching YouTube videos, one of her favourite celebrities is
Zoella, who has recently stayed in a Treehouse at Center Parcs.
So Abbie decided to wish for a family holiday there during the
summer.

With your help Abbie will be able to relax, surrounded by
family at a place that is fitting for her needs no matter how she
feels, a hot tub and sauna for quiet times, quad biking and
aerial adventure for more adrenaline fuelled days.
