curiosity . An average or lower level bodybuilder tends to see the success of other bodybuilders as a threat or becomes very intimidated by comparing themselves with their successful competitors . However , the elite level bodybuilders see their successful competitors as sources of inspiration and motivation . They try to learn and model their successful habits and behaviours . And then they work to beat them .
The application and execution of the entire plan is an integral part of the path to success . Elite bodybuilders understand that they must apply themselves in every aspect of their training . Not only in technique and mind muscle connection but also in massage and / or physio , stretching , adhering to the meal plan , being honest with their coach , hydration , gut health , resting , and so on .
Taking ownership is vital ! By owning that this process is yours to pursue to the best of your abilities makes you responsible for every choice you make throughout the process . You need to be the driving force to get to your goal . You can have support systems but ultimately you ’ re the one in the driver ’ s seat .
Consistent effort is essential and skills are developed from your hard work and dedication . Sometimes bodybuilders look for that secret , that magic pill or the ultimate exercise for a particular body part . Avoid making this process complicated ! The best bodybuilders work hard at seeking small but consistent gains in different areas of their physical and mental development . The formula isn ’ t fancy but it works . It ’ s not enough to say you want it . You eat , sleep , and breathe all aspects to be a high performance bodybuilder . You want to be victorious ? Do the work on every level !
