Adam Walker Adam Walker started out as a hockey player (goalie) from the age of 5 years old, loved to play sports, keeping fit and living a healthy lifestyle. After attending Dalhousie University in 1994 and playing for the Dal Tigers in 94 and 95. He continued his university education at UNBSJ graduating in 2000 with a B.A. degree with a double major in Canadian History and Canadian Political Science. In 1998, Adam Walker attended his first bodybuilding show at the age of 22 years old in Columbus Ohio at the Arnold Classic; where he also had his picture taken with his childhood idol Arnold Schwarzenegger. He had no idea it was just the beginning of a long and exciting career in the sport of Bodybuilding. Adam competed in and won various titles from 1999 to 2002 in the province of New Brunswick and Atlantic Canada. His final competition brought home a first place middle weight title and best poser award. After ending his competitive bodybuilding career, Adam joined the Saint John Fire Department where he currently works as an Acting Lieutenant after 19 years of service. In 2004, he opened Canadian Made Muscle, a popular supplement Company serving customer’s right across the country for the past 16 years. Speaking at countless clinics and seminars across Atlantic Canada he was giving the opportunity to begin a judging career that stretched over a decade in various Provincial shows around Atlantic Canada and spending half that decade judging Canadian National Bodybuilding and Bikini competitions across Canada. Adam is also a very proud father of three beautiful children, Abby (15), Lily (12), and Jack (10). After the birth of his 3rd child in 2009, he decided to close his 3 supplements stores and move to strictly website sales only so he could spend more time with his growing family. He wasn’t done there; Adam created the Saint John Fall Classic in 2014. Now after promoting 6 competitions he is planning a 7th during uncertain times at the Saint John Trade and Convention Center. Starting with 50 athletes and 200 spectators he has seen the Saint John Fall Classic grow into 500 spectators and roughly 133 registered athletes in 2019. As Adam gears up for another exciting year and show on November 14th, 2020, he is committed as always to providing a fun, exciting, and rewarding experience for its athletes and spectators. He leaves us with a quote he has lived his life by, “If you enjoy what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life” Ron Walker R.I.P, 2000 (Adam’s Father) 43
