METAMORPHOSIS
ACHIEVEMENT
RECOGNITION
Muscle Metamorphosis Inc., a Liquid Sunrayz (“LSR”)
Certified competition tanner for Canadian Physique
Alliance (“CPA”) events, sponsors a Metamorphosis
Achievement Recognition program at the TNT Muscle
Showdown (“TNT”) yearly. It is a process where CPA
Competitors can share their story which is not limited to
a physical transformation, but rather balances the focus
with the mental and spiritual aspects of the journey. One
submission is then selected to be further acknowledged.
2020’s process morphed away from being at the TNT
event due to its Covid19 cancellation. The program
gathered voluntary sponsorships and went virtual with a
video submission, opening up the opportunity to anyone
who wanted to share their personal metamorphosis.
With the support of the CPA, this was done to keep moral
up and take focus away from the ever present Covid19
crisis. Submissions came in from all over Canada. The
metamorphosis shared by each personal, triumphant
and some absolutely staggering. (View all submissions

TORY
JONES
Tory Jones from Kamloops, BC is the 2020
Metamorphosis Achievement Recognition Recipient
and here is his story:
Tory climbed trees for a living as a certified utility arborist
for 12 years. He loved it. This career choice exemplified
this family man’s active lifestyle of dirt biking, family
hikes/biking, and hitting the gym 6x a week. He had a fire
ignited when he did his first bodybuilding competition
in November 2017. He became determined to become
the biggest and best version of himself. “I had it all, a
beautiful life with dreams I was determined to crush.”
On July 23, 2019 that all hung in the balance. While
travelling home from work, the truck was launched
93 feet when it hit a hydro pole. Tory remembers
knowing they hit something. Through the blur of radical
movements, they landed on the wheels where the crew
was yelling at everyone to make sure all were ok. As
everyone was attempting to get out of the truck, Tory
recalls looking down at his steel toed boots thinking,
“wow my feet feel heavy”.
