HOW TO: REDUCE STRESS BY DARREN MEHLING Something that is become all too common these days is chronically high levels of stress. Now, don’t get me wrong. We need some stress to grow and become better. Taking on more responsibility or tackling bigger tasks at work can help you get promoted. Your intense weight training or cardio workouts can help you build muscle and lose more body fat to help you climb from a CPA amateur to an IFBB professional.  These calculated doses of stress can help you grow financially and athletically and can help take yourself to the next level. However, when stress becomes chronic (too much for too long), it can lead to increased anxiety, decrease sleep quality, and a depressed immune system. If gone unchecked for too long, it can lead to stalled progress and worse, some serious health problems. In this month’s issue, I wanted to offer some steps to help you reduce stress in your life:
