showed other father ' s what joy he had to be her dad . Jasmine has her dad ' s smile I ' m sure of it . When Doug supported you , you knew it was going to give you that extra little bit of confidence that could help you push through anything you were dealing with . Whether it was supporting fellow competitors at competition , or even training clients . Friends were family in his book and he was a man that stood by his motto , " family over everything ". It ' s amazing to be able to stand beside someone and watch them grow and venture out . Watch them even when they fail have an amazing drive to get back up and keep positive and still smile . Even though he has left us , our memories should always remain the same . His loyalty and love was even displayed at his final time . He always put others first . In my book he is a hero , in every sense of the word . He should be remembered for his energy , his smile , his loyalty , and above all his love for people . Doug could touch and leave lasting impressions on anyone he came in contact with . That is a very rare and pure quality to find in someone . If Doug was here he would say , " man just smile and keep trying to better yourself , then everyone else around you will become better because of your example . That ' s all I ever try and do " I will leave this with , Doug you will always be remembered and will always be talked about . Thanks for being a friend to all of us that you touched . Hopefully we carry your passion with us everywhere we go . I ' m truly blessed to have had the time with you . - Allan Wiens
