ARNOLD CLASSIC The Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus Ohio has and always will be a spectacle in the Fitness community. This year was no different, but for different reasons. Everything was all go from the first announcements of the date for the expo and competitions. Everything was booked, everything was planned and excitement for the weekend was at an all time high. Right up to point where the State and State Health Officials shut it all down. The ASF did not give up. Through days and countless hours of negotiating with officials a plan was formulated. The Expo was a casualty, large groups were banned and restricted. The competitions were rescheduled to take place the Battelle Hall with no spectators allowed except for the finals Saturday. It made for a tense couple of days while everyone waited on an outcome. Thank you to the ASF officials who were diligent and determined in negotiating terms on which everyone could agree. The contests, The Arnold Classic and The Arnold Amateur were held over three days. Several Canadians participated in the events and we have pictured most in the following pages. We congratulate each and every competitor who graced this magnificent stage. Special mention and a small feature goes out to one of our expats, Missy Truscott who took the title in Fitness. Congratulations goes out as well to the judges we had in attendance as well. President Ron Hache, Angie Hache and Rudy Jambrosic attended the contests on various panels. Always great to see our experience lend itself to International events. Watch for this event next year and a larger contigent of Canadian athletes. The ASF never disappoints.
