Kirk & Danielle Oberg
As official promoter of the SaskClassic, SkBuilt
Gym owner and accountant Kirk Oberg’s true
passion has always been athletics, specifically
bodybuilding. As a decorated athlete and
previous national record holder in endeavors
such as speed skating, hockey, rugby and
football, bodybuilding continues to remain
essential in Kirk’s life. As former Mr. BC
Bodybuilding Overall and a current national
level competitor for 20+ years, Kirk has trained
alongside some of the top IFBB Pros including
former Ms. Olympia competitor Desiree Ellis.
SaskClassic show promoter and operating
room nurse Danielle Oberg, a former national
level and NCAA Division I track/cross country
runner, has dedicated her life to athletics.
Upon returning home from University and
having met at Gold’s gym, Kirk encouraged
and offered to coach Danielle into her first
provincial competition. After earning the title
as Ms. Saskatchewan, Kirk has gone on to coach
Danielle at the National level, “outgrowing” and
earning top placings in every female category;
from bikini to figure to physique and finally
bodybuilding. Their undefeated first season in
women’s bodybuilding concluded by earning
the prestigious IFBB PRO card at the Canadian
National Pro Qualifier. Kirk and Danielle are
eager to represent the Canadian Physique
Alliance at her pro debut, the Toronto Pro Show
June 2021.
As competitors, devoted supporters and fans of bodybuilding, Kirk and Danielle promise to
continue to deliver the highest quality amateur bodybuilding competition the province of
Saskatchewan has ever seen. The SaskClassic is the province’s first regional CPA championship,
based on fair practices and sound judging for all. Kirk and Danielle would like to acknowledge
and express their gratitude to all the many individuals who’s skills and talents, have directly
