Personal Message from Tania
The day I became a CPA athlete my life
changed. Being afforded the opportunity to
compete and showcase my talent has
enabled me to grow not only as athlete
but also as a woman. By maintaining
a daily fitness regime, I have been able to
develop and improve my overall mental, physical
and spiritual wellbeing. Being surrounded by other
athletes especially Nicho Vlachos at Big Daddy Fitness
has helped me focus and set goals that I now use in my
everyday life. Supporting my community as a registered
nurse combined with my daily fitness routines has
been one of my most rewarding experiences. Being
a nurse can be challenging at time especially during
the Covid-19 pandemic where my discipline and self
motivation has allowed to me fight through the long
hours & training. Because of Covid-19 I have adapted
my fitness lifestyle by changing my home into a wellequipped
gym and despite the social distancing I am
surrounded by family, friends and my nephew who
continue to support and encourage me. When
life throws you curve balls, we need to adapt,
embrace and keep pushing forward.
Lately I would like to give shout out to
all the nurses and essential workers
who are out there fighting with us. We
can fight this if we all pull ourselves together!
To the CPA, sponsors and all the athletes, keep up
the great work and thank all of you for supporting the
CPA nurses across Canada.
