CANADIAN PHYSIQUE ALLIANCE May/June Issue | Page 22
Tania Myrans is a 27 years old CPA athlete who has been
competing in women’s figure for a little under a year. Having
a passion for fitness and supported by her coach Nicho
Vlachos at Big Daddy Fitness, Tania's first competition took
place in May 2019 where she finished 2nd at the Mimi Capes
Classic. Known as a fierce competitor and determined to
improve on her overall performance, Tania’s hard work and
personal discipline was rewarded in October 2019 when
she placed 3rd at Canadian National pro qualifier in Toronto
Ontario.
Taking into consideration the personal sacrifices, long term
commitment and competitive challenges that goes into
winning a CPA championship or title, Tania unfortunately
finds herself in a different type of challenge, the fight
against Covid-19. As a registered nurse currently working at
the CHUM hospital in Montreal Québec, Tania is an surgical
first line responder responsible for supporting and training
medical staff on how to fight and overcome this pandemic.
Not only is Tania a role model for her family and friends but
also an inspiration to all of us who have been affected by
Covid-19. Her selfless actions are a true representation of
the CPA community and
others just like her. The
CPA and other athletes
would like to take this
time and opportunity to
recognize Tania and say
how proud we are. Keep

fighting and we will see you and other competitors on stage
soon!
