MY 2 FAVORITE TOOLS FROM ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER

If you ’ ve been living under a rock , let me tell you about this dude . His name is Arnold Schwarzenegger . You may have heard of him . He ’ s a world renown bodybuilder , actor , businessman , and politician . Recently this dude came out with his book : “ Be Useful : Seven Tools For Life ”. While I found all 7 tools helpful , I ’ m going to talk about 2 of these rules that resonated with me .
The first tool Arnold talks about is to have a clear vision . Why ? Because it gives you direction , like a map or GPS . Having a clear vision provides a way to decide whether a decision is good or bad for you based on whether it gets you closer or further from where you want to go in life . So how do you create your vision ?
You ’ ve got 2 options .
You can start small and then build it out until a big , clear picture reveals itself to you . Or you can start very broad and then zoom in until you have a clearer , more specific picture , which will lead you into a specific direction . And then you can create steps needed to get there .
Start by creating little goals for yourself . Focus on making improvements and note down your achievements 1 day at a time . Some of these goals could include exercise goals , nutrition goals , networking , reading , getting your house organised , start doing things you like to do or what makes you proud of yourself for completing them . The important thing is to start . Then proceed with weekly and then monthly goals .
Arnold advises to create space for inspiration , i . e . take a walk , soak in a jacuzzi but also be prepared to plan , to work , to learn , to fail , to work , to learn , to fail , repeat . That ’ s life .
If you want to increase your chances of success , to live the life you want , be
