When I was in grade 9 I was a very small kid probably weighing around 103 pounds . It was mandatory to take gym class in grade 9 and I dreaded it . At first all I wanted was to be an athlete like the other kids so I would come home from school and do push-ups and sit ups .
It was recognized by my parents and not soon after I was given a basic weight set of a bench press and a few weights . My dad and I went to Popeye ’ s and picked up a few supplements and I started my journey in fitness . At this time I had no hopes of becoming a bodybuilder but after watching Pumping Iron and reading some muscle mags , it was only a matter of time before I was hooked .
My dad and I went to crunch fitness and we tried to sign up but I wasn ’ t old enough . I signed up on my 16th birthday and that ’ s when I really started to make progress . I met a lot of great people and learned a lot about nutrition and training . Around this time I started an Instagram page and started posting my lifts and physique . I was quickly recognized by others and my motivation towards bodybuilding grew . By the time I was a senior in high school I was the strongest person in my school .
I always wanted to do a bodybuilding competition and I practiced my posing and started my prep for the Jim Morris classic . It was very difficult but I really really wanted this . I decided to purchase a professional camera to take pictures of my prep journey through Instagram . Doing a bodybuilding competition really helped me learn a lot . It got me measuring out my macros and becoming a lot stricter with what I eat .
I now get lots of attention on my social media from other individuals who want help with weight loss or weight gain and I ’ m glad to help . I ’ m very passionate about the sport and I ’ ll continue my progress and make it a goal to become a pro .
