YOU DON'T BUILD BIG BICEPS WITH 5LB DUMBBELLS Written by: Natasha Davis Alright, it’s no surprise that having as nice derriere is a staple in the bikini division. This is a division that showcases a female physique with curves! To BUILD any muscle, you need to put it under stress and give it a challenge! You can’t grow big arms curling 5lb dumbbells – so don’t think that you can build great glutes by only performing bodyweight or light glute activation work (this is great for adding high-intensity movements into the training for pre- or post- glute exhaustion, but don’t be fooled to thinking that the low weight throughout a whole training session i s going to build your glutes!) Here are some of my favourite exercises that I incorporate during the off season and in competition prep for overall glute development!
