It is only 6 pm and you are absolutely exhausted from the day. You have been up since 5 am to hit the gym, rushed to work, and still have a cascade of daily life tasks to do. You’ ve probably had 1 or 10 coffees and / or scoops of pre-workout to get surges of artificial energy throughout your day. Finally, 9 pm comes and it is time for bed. Although your body is physically exhausted, your mind is still racing along with your thumb scrolling through Instagram. You close your eyes and the more you try to fall asleep, the more you toss and turn in bed. All of a sudden, you realize you can’ t fall asleep so you watch a little bit of TV. Then, you go back to bed at 11 pm and are asleep by midnight. The next day comes and you repeat it all over again.
One of the worst debts to pay is sleep debt, and the majority of society lives in a constant state of stimulation and stress.
