The way the athletes are adjusted on the stage is a decision that the Head
Judge makes. Each Head Judge has there own style. This means that not
always is the highest placing person in the call out placed in the centre. Once
the athletes have been adjusted the judges give each athlete a placing from
1-16 (this is dependant on the number of athletes in the class). The judges
can also request that certain athletes to be moved to see a closer
comparison.
At the end of all the comparisons, any judge can request further comparisons
to confirm his/her placing of those athletes.
We will look at a 7 Judge panel. Once the judge's name place each athlete
the scores are handed to the statistician. The statistician gathers the placing
from all 7 judges for each athlete. The Head Judge’s scores are not part of
that tabulation. The statistician will remove one of the highest and lowest
placings. The other 5 placings will be added. This will formulate your score.
