MAIA GORDON
My name is Maia and I live in
Montreal, Quebec.
I got involved in the fitness industry
to challenge myself and see if I had
potential in the Bikini division.
I chose to compete in the CPA
because it could lead me to earning
a Pro Card.
My favorite body part to train is my
glutes! (typical Bikini girl lol!)
I would like to inspire others in
the fitness industry the way I was
inspired: by being a fierce but
friendly competitor, be consistent
with my workouts/ meal prep and a
role model to my peers.
The advice that I would give to
anyone thinking about competing
is, to be fearless and embrace
failure, enjoy the journey and
welcome pain because pushing
through all adversity will make you
a stronger person and competitor.
Within my first year of competing, I
earned my Pro card at the Canadian
Natural Pro Qualifier in August
2019; I then went on to earn my
Olympia2020 qualification at the
Inaugural Ben Weider Naturals!
My coach and I are looking into
doing a couple shows before the
“O” but no dates booked just yet!
