Have you or somebody
close to you ever
prepared for a physique
show? It is normal to have
your energy 100%
focused for the one day
on stage. Anybody
looking to step on stage
wants to look their
absolute best and that
immediate date can be
seen as the end goal. This
may make the person
preparing very motivated
to give their training and
nutrition 100% attention
and effort. Once the show
date arrives, the pictures
are taken, and all of
Instagram can see the
highlights, very quickly a
low period can take over.
The person may be left
without a specific date for a
next goal, without a coach,
bloated from all the post
show treats and completely
burnt out from all the hard
training they have done for
weeks or perhaps even
months.
Unfortunately, a lack of
proper knowledge and a
few complex bodily
processes leads people to
follow their first instinct
after doing a strict cut. They
may not want to go back to
the gym right away as they
have been going multiple
times a day for weeks or
even months on end.
