I studied HVAC in 2015 and I was just enrolled at Mohawk the past two years for Health, Wellness & Fitness. What got you interested in competing? I started working out in my room right before bed at the age of 13, a circuit of push ups, sit ups, and curls. I then got introduced to the gym scene through a program called Bodywaves at my high school that taught me how to workout using a facility allowing me to manipulate the muscles I wanted to grow and increase strength. I later joined a gym called Profit located on the 6th line on the native reservation. There, I met a man named Henderson Thorne who introduced me to men’s physique. He always motivated me saying I would do really well if I competed and at the time I had no idea how to even register, heck I didn’t even think I was eligible to until he explained to me that anyone could do it. From that point on, I trained for another purpose, not just for strength but for competitions. My first competition was going to be the Fedel Clarke Classic in 2017 and Henderson was going to help me with my posing. But a month before the competition, I broke my left humerus in half, while snowboarding. This set me back significantly. “Stay away from peanut butter and Nutella while on prep and don’t listen to the naysayers.” How many CPA shows have you competed in? I have competed in 3 events now; Fedel Clark Classic- 3rd, Toronto Championships - 1st overall, Toronto Pro Super Show - 5th, and Status Fitness Model Search - 3rd. Next shows and preps are being planned and finalized. Watch for it in the months to come. What show were you awarded the Spot Light Award?
