My mother passed and I wanted that peace , as I did with my father . So I started my prep this March and went full force to put that pain into power for the King Kong show this November but this time as “ masters ” as I will be 45 years old this year and with the love of my life by my side , who I can now call my husband !
I encouraged my husband to do his first show as “ Men ’ s Physique Masters ” ( 50 ). It has been amazing to share this journey as husband and wife doing prep for a competition ! Trevor is made to compete ! Look out July 27 , in Barrie , Ontario !

However , sometimes things don ’ t go as planned and as I write my story in bed rest after undergoing surgery 6 days ago , after suffering in excruciating pain due to fibroids the size of grapefruits , I had to make a decision to stop prep and remove my whole reproductive organs . I can finally say I feel relief even after 6 days post operation .
I truly believe God , the universe , the divine , a higher entity wants me to be at peace by healing , recharging , sitting in stillness , being in the moment with my mind , body and soul this time around .
My goal was to compete this November , I will let my body decide how long I need to heal . The stage is not going anywhere … this is what I keep telling myself which is True ! However , I still have my mind and soul to share my pain that I continue to turn into power by sharing my story with you ! I am grateful to have my health but forever grateful to have the memories I hold in my heart and soul especially with the time I spent with my mama .
So I may or may not be on stage this time this year to share the pain I turned
