David has been fitness enthusiast for quite some time and is currently qualified for the Pro Qualifiers happening this year .
It has been forever since an actor has been featured in the Newsletter . The fact that we are only proves that the CPA has competitors from every walk of life .
Originally from Edmonton , AB David started his competition journey in 2017 in Toronto , ON at The OPA Gala where he placed second in his class . Competing in 7 contests from 2017 to 2019 ( 4 ) garnered several placings including an Overall win at the 2019 Legends Cup in Master Men ’ s Physique . Covid pretty much shut down the 2020 season but David will return to the stage for the 2021 competition season .
David ’ s other passion is acting . Action series or drama are equally attractive as a platform that features David ’ s skills and rugged good looks .
Among David ’ s most recent appearance credits are a role in the drama “ Clarice ” where David plays a lawyer . Also watch for David in a couple more vehicles - 8 Bit Christmas and Station Eleven , both in post-production .
Current projects include FIVE DAYS AT MEMORIAL by John Ridley . A compelling story that outlines the first five days at Memorial Hospital in New Orleans after Katrina made landfall .
David does not simply act , he is also a writer and producer . It is a wonder he is able to fit training into this schedule , but he does .
We look forward to seeing David on stage and television this year .
