5 TIPS

TO STAND OUT

1

DEFINE YOUR BRAND
Choose colours , fonts , and styles that are different from your competitors . Create a visual look within your posts and imagery . The style and wording you choose to use can reflect your professionalism , personality , or both .

2

TRY ALTERNATIVE PLATFORMS
If you ’ re struggling to get noticed amongst the crowd , then go where it ’ s less busy . Instagram and YouTube are packed with fitness bloggers , so it may be difficult to stand out there . But there are always new platforms being developed , where there won ’ t be as much noise . Try focusing on an upcoming platform such as TikTok or Clubhouse .

3

TARGET AN UNDER-SERVED AUDIENCE
Sometimes the best way to stand out is to carve yourself a very specific niche . Go after a client base that no one else is catering to . What makes your experience different from others ? Many focus on students , moms , or business owners . Find a specific audience you can speak to and connect with . Sometimes the weirder or most obscure niches can be the most profitable for you . Be your true self , talk about the things that matter and are unique to you , as others will also have the same likes . It ’ s always best to be truly authentic - this will give you a tremendous amount of credibility .

4

BE PERSISTENT AND ENGAGE DAILY
The other way to stand out is to simply work harder than anyone else . Develop your skills so that you become more capable than your competitors . Just like you set aside 60 minutes each day to do your cardio leading up to your show , schedule 30 minutes a day to post new content and engage with your followers . Try challenging yourself to post new things , such as alternating between videos and photos .

5

GET PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS DONE
Professional photos will really elevate your online profile and help you develop your own brand . It ’ s also a fun way to capture your hard-earned progress . You can pose as you wish , or get guidance from a professional photographer .
