CANADIAN PHYSIQUE ALLIANCE July/August 2020 | Page 53
What got you interested in competing?
I chose to compete to challenge myself
physically but also mentally, learning to
embrace the struggle makes you grow as
a person.
What made you choose to compete with
the CPA? The goal of one day earning my
Pro Card.
How many CPA shows have you competed
in? The Stephanie Worsfold Classic in May
2019 was my first ever show.
What is you favorite body part to train?
Definitely back and glutes, but I don't
neglect any body part.
How would you like to inspire others in the
fitness industry? Whatever it is that you
decide to pursue, be willing to work harder
than everybody else but move silently, let
success be your noise. Also if you haven't
realized this yet, show day lean is not
maintainable year round, so eat more and
lift heavier.
If you had any advice for anyone thinking
of competing what would it be? Find a
reputable coach and trust the process. Be
willing to put in the work and don't hold
back! Diet and exercise are important, but
don't neglect the importance of posing
and stage presence.
What's next for you? For the foreseeable
future I am focusing on my family, friends
and career. I love the sport of bodybuilding,
I'm still hitting the gym hard and eating
well. The stage will be waiting for me.
Bodybuilding is a journey and I'm excited
to continue to learn.
