Influential Sports has developed a proven COVID-19 safety plan to protect the health and safety of our staff , volunteers , and athletes . Each attendee will have to answer a questionnaire which will aid in identifying and assessing symptoms , as well as potential contact tracing . The athletes will then have their temperature checked and recorded on both athlete registration day and show day .
Influential Sports Inc . is proud to announce the Vancouver Island Showdown PRO / AM in conjunction with the IFBB Pro League and the Canadian Physique Alliance . For the first time ever in Victoria , BC Canada , the event will feature IFBB Pro Women ’ s Bodybuilding & IFBB Pro Women ’ s Physique athletes .
The Vancouver Island Showdown has been a fixture in Victoria , BC since 2015 as a regional qualifier with the Canadian Physique Alliance ; this tradition will continue with the addition of the IFBB Pro League event . This year ’ s event will be held on June 26th , 2021 featuring both amateur & professional athletes . IFBB Professional athletes will compete on our stage for their chance to qualify for the Olympia in 2021 , as the winner in each division will earn their qualification .
This year ’ s show brings an excellent experience from start to finish . From the vast safety and social distancing protocols in place , to a professional level stage , sound and lighting . There will also be a pay-perview live stream capturing all of the action on stage and back stage to be able to share the experience with friends and family around the world . Influential Sports Inc . will have custom swag for registered athletes , athlete bags with some of our favourite products , and exclusive prizes for winners . Our media team will focus on various digital media opportunities pre and post show to increase visibility and media exposure of the athletes . Professional athlete photos and videos will be available to capture the athletes ’ physique at its peak condition .
