CANADIAN PHYSIQUE ALLIANCE FALL ISSUE SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER | Page 63
Where do you live?
I live in Calgary, Alberta.
Are you a student or do you
work?
I work at Savers as a Front End
Supervisor.
What got you interested in
competing?
I always have had a competitive
nature. Once I started bodybuilding
people always commented on how
good I looked and asked “Why don’t
you compete?”
So i picked my first show, I did it and
I won. I was bit by the bug and will
continue to compete.
How many CPA shows have you
competed in?
Only one. I competed at the Alberta
Winter Open in Calgary on March
16th.
I won Overall Women’s Physique and
was awarded the Spotkight Award at
that show.
How would you like to inspire
others in the fitness industry?
I am not trying to inspire anyone, but,
at the same time, if I can get anyone
interested in fitness or just being
healthier, to me that is a win win. At
the end of the day I am just me.
What is you favorite workout
routine?
My favorite body part to train is
whichever one is not aching or killing
me at that time.
Do you compete for fun or are
you working towards a Pro
Card?
I am working towards a Pro Card. I
do like to have some fun along the
way because there is no point doing
something you don’t like.
What made you choose to compete
“The CPA is the organization
that could take my passion
in the direction I want to go ”
with the CPA?
When I chose to compete with the
CPA I looked at what they had to offer
in regards to my long term goals. The
CPA is the organization that could
take my passion in the direction I
want to go.
If you had any advice for anyone
thinking of competing what would
it be?
Don’t get in my way!!!(haha), but
no seriously, if your heart is in it and
you follow your passion you will do
well. At the end of the day though,
the person you need to impress most
is YOU!
