PRESIDENT’ S REPORT
PRESIDENT’ S REPORT
RON HACHE
Dear Members:
As we approach the end of the season, activity within the CPA appears to be increasing, with numerous new Canadian Pros emerging from the Toronto Pro Qualifier, Vancouver Pro Qualifier, Natural Canada Pro Qualifier, and the North Americans.
This year has been a remarkable year for our members, who have had the opportunity to compete not only in the USA but Worldwide, after competing at an Open or Natural CPA Pro Qualifier.
The Natural movement led by Canada has surpassed all our expectations with a record number of athletes competing in our regional shows, at our newest Natural Canada international event, the Ben Weider Naturals Pro Qualifier and the addition of the Xtreme Natural Muscle Pro Qualifier and Xtreme Natural Muscle Pro Show in Vancouver is a testament to the growth of the natural movement.
This sport has grown into a lifestyle for the general public who want to or need to have the motivation to push themselves to new challenges. The reward of competing is not only winning on stage, but the life changes within oneself. In some cases, it saves lives, especially for younger athletes who turn to training for help in the fight against addiction and mental health issues. The feeling of health and wellness wins over the lifestyles of self-destruction.
I guess my message is that our sport has transformed lives, including mine. As we close this chapter of the CPA newsletter, I hope that throughout the years of my article, some of you have seen yourselves in my many messages and are now playing it forward, influencing others to participate in our sport. I believe our participation and influence in this sport leave the world in a better place. I want to thank all of you for your incredible support of the Canadian Physique Alliance and hope you will continue living a healthy lifestyle and pushing yourselves to be the best you can be.
After over 40 years of printed and online newsletters, the 2025 Fall Issue of the CPA Newsletter will be the last. Throughout its journey, the newsletter has shared invaluable insights, stories, and resources with our community. However, rising costs have made it unsustainable to continue. We thank all our contributors and readers for their support and engagement over the decades; your contributions have made this publication a cherished part of our profession ' s history.
The CPA website and social media will continue to be a resource for information and updates. We strive to keep our community informed about the latest developments, industry news, and upcoming events through these channels. Regularly visiting our website will provide access to valuable resources, articles, and announcements. Our social media presence allows for real-time communication and engagement. We encourage everyone to stay connected and utilize these platforms to enhance your understanding and involvement in our community.
