The contest will be called the Ben
Weider Pro/Am Naturals in honor of Ben
Weider who along with his brother Joe
Weider founded the IFBB. Ben Weider
was born and raised in Montreal
Quebec.  He spent his life in Quebec
and was our ambassador traveling
around the world building the IFBB and
promoting our sport. His brother, Joe
moved to the US and built the sport in
that country. Joe Weider’s legacy
continues with the most prestigious
IFBB Professional League contest in the
world known as “Joe Weider’s Olympia".
Ben Weider will now also have his
legacy within the IFBB Pro League with
the Ben Weider Pro/Am Naturals.  What
will make this contest historic is the fact
that it is being held in Montreal in the
same venue that Ben Weider promoted
his first IFBB contest-the 1946 IFBB Mr.
Canada, also the same venue for the
first ever IFBB Mr. Universe which later
became known as the World Amateur
Bodybuilding Championships.  This is
the contest every natural athlete around
the world does not want to miss. Being
part of this historic moment will be an
unforgettable experience for every
natural competitor.
