Where do you live? I live in Kitchener, Ontario. Are you a student or do you work? I work, I am a mom and a wife. I am not a student but always learning! I have just opened a restaraunt - The Underground. What got you interested in competing? I have had a gym membership since I was 14 and probably been on some sort of diet just as long! I kept getting asked if I competed and I was totally ignorant thinking bikini was the only class for women! I am so not a bikini girl. I got a little education and fell in love with the idea of figure. I was 43 and it dawned on me that I compared myself to ladies in their 20’s, I was a master and knew I had to prove to myself I could do it! How many CPA shows have you competed in? Three so far in Figure. The Gala in 2016, placed 5th in Masters and 6th in Open. The Toronto Supershow 2017, placed 5th in Masters. Mindi O Show 2018, 1st in Grand Masters, 1st in Open. How would you like to inspire others in the fitness industry? I feel “we all fit” it doesnt matter what you want as long as you are happy and healthy. You want a cookie, eat a cookie. You want to compete, compete. We are not all meant nor should we all want the same things. Never settle for being just ok always strive to be your best but remember our bests are different and that is what makes us who we are. Self love is about demanding the best for ourselves, from ourselves. What is you favorite workout routine? I don’t have one. It all depends on the area I’m trying to improve. I want bigger shoulders, it becomes my favorite but I also need hammies so I get excited about training “I enjoy the prep process so I will compete as long as I respectfully meet competition standards” those too. I get happy when I think about going to the gym. Do you compete for fun or are you working towards the Pro Card? Both! I want to get my pro card to be able to say I am a professional bodybuilder, that would mean I reached an elite level. I take my training very seriously. However I’m getting older and hope that won’t
