Pearl Drums Mimic Pro Drum Module
Steven Slate and Pearl Drums have partnered on the development of the Mimic Pro , which is a modern take on the traditional electronic drum brain module with updated sounds more in keeping with today ’ s production quality . It includes the features of a traditional electronic drum brain but with the added features of using software-driven sampled drums created by Steven Slate Drums
Mimic Pro features include 24-bit Steven Slate Drums 5 and multi-channel samples with separate adjustment of close , overhead , and room mics . There is an IPS touch screen and 60 GB solid state drive with Burr Brown converters and 16 inputs and 16 audio outputs ( eight on the module and eight from the DB-25 connector ). All inputs have a cymbal choke function . There are two completely separate mixers for headphone and aux outs . The Mimic Pro supports triple and dual zone cymbals and dual zone hi-hats .

JBL Professional by Harman has released the EON208P portable PA system , featuring two loudspeakers housed in enclosures suitable for ground stacking or pole mounting . Each loudspeaker features an 8-in . woofer and 1-in . neodymium black nylon dome tweeter powered by a 320 W power amp section .
On the eight-channel mixer , channels one through four can accept either a 1 / 4-in . instrument cable or an XLR cable and feature volume , reverb , treble and bass controls . Additionally , channels one trough three allow for both phantom power and Hi-Z input , enabling users to directly connect guitars , as well as mics and other devices that require phantom power .
Channels five and six can accept either a stereo pair of 1 / 4-in . TRS plugs or stereo RCA cables , making them ideal for keyboards and media playback devices . Channels seven and eight accept a stereo 3.5 mm input for mobile devices such as phones and tablets , and users can connect Bluetooth-enabled devices .
