Radial PZ-Pro Acoustic Instrument Preamp
Radial Engineering is now shipping the PZ-Pro , the latest addition to its Acoustic Series of preamps for acoustic instrumentalists .
The PZ-Pro is a two-channel instrument preamp , DI , and switcher that enables complete control over tone , EQ settings , and effects . Each channel on the PZ-Pro features a separate equalizer strip , complete with a filter section to reduce feedback on stage . The second channel of the PZ-Pro also features a microphone input to allow any dynamic or condenser microphone to be used , including clip-on instrument mics . Three footswitches provide the ability to toggle between each input channel , activate a built-in booster and an effects loop , or mute the signal for silent tuning on stage .

Patch & Tweak with Moog Book
Moog has published a new book in collaboration with artist Kim Bjørn titled Patch & Tweak with Moog , a Moog-specific follow-up to Bjørn ’ s 2018 book Patch & Tweak meant to be a comprehensive resource for Moog synthesizer enthusiasts and musicians of all skill levels interested in an immersive modular synthesis experience .
The book is the result of more than a year of extensive collaboration with electronic music icons , established and emerging artists , and Moog employee-owners . Opening with a foreword from acclaimed film score composer and sound designer Hans Zimmer , this hardcover book features 200 pages full of synthesizer techniques , creative patch ideas , sound design tips , professional artist interviews , in-depth discussions with Moog engineers , and a glimpse into Moog ’ s history . His signature G6120TFM is a single-cutaway hollowbody that features a tiger flame maple arched top , back , and sides with 1959 trestle bracing , and oversized F-holes for improved sonic projection . The set maple neck has a 9.5-12-in . compound radius ebony fingerboard with rolled edges for comfortable chording or fast riffing across 22 medium frets and pearloid neo-classic thumbnail inlays .
