The 2021 NAMM Show Made More Accessible with Virtual Event Because COVID-19 forced NAMM to cancel this January ’ s edition of its mammoth annual music products trade show in California , the association is instead holding the Believe in Music Week virtual event from Jan . 18-22 , 2021 . The good news for musicians is that this music products extravaganza , which is usually closed to the public , is now being made more accessible .
In the virtual marketplace , musicians will learn about the latest music gear and software and get demos . As well , the Believe in Music TV platform will provide live and recorded educational sessions of varying lengths and formats on music creation and business topics .

BreakOut West : Home Edition Wraps 2 Weeks of Immersive Experiences
On Oct . 16 th , BreakOut West : Home Edition wrapped after 15 days . This virtual edition of BreakOut West provided artists and industry professionals with the opportunity to expand their careers with 112 speakers , 18 panel discussions , seven networking events , and over 443 virtual meetings with 95 mentors . Music discovery was celebrated as well with 51 highlight artists being featured throughout the event .
In total , over 720 people attended the events with delegates joining in from 15 different countries . Attendees were able to travel virtually to key international markets in order to learn strategies and advice for breaking out internationally – what makes each market unique , what industry and platforms are relevant , how and when to engage , and insider information on what these markets will look like over the coming six to 24 months .
