Levy ’ s Right Height Guitar & Bass Straps
Levy ’ s has expanded its Right Height line , including the new 3.5-in . -wide garment leather padded bass guitar strap in black . Others from the expanded Right Height line include the Right Height lightning bolt motif strap ; black and white checkered motif strap ; blue , black , yellow , and gold hootenanny strap ; white , black , and gold hootenanny strap ; and blue , white , and black floral hootenanny strap .
The Right Height straps feature the company ’ s RipChord technology for tightening and loosening the strap without having to remove the guitar . To perform quick and easy height adjustments , the wearer reaches behind their back to locate the handle and simply pulls down to tighten or pulls up to loosen . The extra strap width and internal foam padding provides more comfort and is paired with a garment leather top , along with suede backing to keep the instrument from slipping .
All Right Height straps are adjustable in length from 43 to 57 in . and are constructed of strong , lightweight one-ply polyester . Stitching on both leather ends prevents pinhole stretching to provide long-lasting security for an electric or acoustic guitar or bass .

Antelope Audio is now shipping the Zen Q Synergy Core bus-powered portable audio interface with onboard effects . It is the big brother to the previously-released Zen Go Synergy Core and designed for home-based music creators or small studios .
The Zen Q Synergy Core is a 14 x 10 desktop bus-powered audio interface with Thunderbolt 3 connectivity . It combines the company ’ s AD / DA converters , discrete ultra-linear mic pre-amps , and 64-bit AFC ( Acoustically Focused Clocking ) technology with I / O capabilities and a collection of real-time-processed analog-modeled effects .
Realizing recording , mixing , and playback at up to 24-bit / 192kHz , the Zen Q Synergy Core combines the key performance qualities of Antelope audio interfaces . This includes AD / DA converter chips granting ( up to ) 127dB of headroom with high-quality definition ; two ultra-linear preamps featuring true console-grade circuitry imparting warmth and capturing the natural details of recorded instruments or voices ; and proprietary 64-bit AFC and jitter management algorithm enabling efficient AD / DA conversion with increased sound width , separation , and detail . Signature Auraverb ( reverb ) included , the Zen Q Synergy Core comes complete with a virtual library of 37 free effects .
Gretsch Ash Soan Signature Snare Drum
Gretsch Drums has introduced the Ash Soan Signature snare drum . The U . K . -based session ace has been testing the prototype for some time using it as his go-to snare on a host of recordings and Instagram videos . Soan can be heard on songs by Sam Smith , Adele , Cher , Dua Lipa , Rod Stewart , and more , as well as major movie soundtracks .
The Ash Soan Signature is a 7 x 12-in . purpleheart drum . Soan says it matches his unique tone and offers long sustain , versatility , and character . The heart of the unique snare is a nine-ply purpleheart shell finished with a clear gloss lacquer . This dense hardwood takes its name from the wood ’ s purple hue and delivers a distinctive tone with ample volume , attack , and definition . The 7 x 12-in . drum features double 45-degree bearing edges , 4mm die-cast hoops , and classic lightening throw-off . Each snare includes an internal identification label that is hand-signed by Soan and specifies the year of production .
