“ It seems in a blink of an eye , five years has passed and we ’ ve seen just how much we ’ ve grown as artists — with our sound , with our delivery , the maturity , the confidence levels , everything . It ’ s surreal to look back on , and it all started with that one album where it ’ s just the two of us in the studio with no clue ,” begins Darren “ Young D ” Metz , speaking to Canadian Musician over Zoom from the seat of his parked car , where he ’ s gone to escape the chaos of moving to a new house in Vancouver . “ We were always so driven and focused on the next thing . It was like , ‘ Okay , we did this album , now we ’ ve got to do the next one , and then it ’ s on to the next one .”
