Hohner Blues Bender 586BX Harmonica
Hohner has released the Blues Bender 586BX harmonica . The setup of a harmonica consists of a process called “ gapping ,” which is when the reed position is set in relation to the reedplate to allow the air to flow around and actuate the reed . Hohner says the new Blues Bender benefits from this setup and tuning process that is on par with its professional models .
The 586BX features a clear plastic comb with classic “ sandwich-style ” construction for a traditional feel . The coverplates are made from stainless steel and include improvements taken from more expensive harmonica models . As a finishing touch , the reedplates are chrome plated , adding to the sleek look of the instrument . This model is available in the major keys of A , BH , C , D , E , F , and G .

Among PRS Guitars ’ new models for 2021 is the Studio , which is a modern take on a traditional single-single-hum guitar .
With PRS ’ s Narrowfield pickups in the middle and bass positions and a 58 / 15 LT humbucking bridge pickup , PRS says the Studio offers punchy single-coils , vintage scooped tones , and the chunky kick of a bridge humbucker in one instrument . This new scope of sounds that are only possible with a three-pickup guitar are accessible in the Studio model thanks to the push / pull tone control and five-way blade switch . With seven combinations in all , the PRS Studio covers classic tones but maintains a unique voice .
The PRS Studio is available in three new colours for 2021 : cobalt blue , eriza verd e , and purple iris .
