For this year ’ s panel on all things bass , Canadian Musician assembled an incredible roster of players who
cover the gamut of genres and experience levels . From hard rock to pop and R & B , and players who have been touring the world for decades to others still very young in their careers , the goal was to get a diversity of musical perspectives . But despite those very different perspectives , some of our panel ’ s responses are remarkably consistent , especially when it comes to the key lessons they have learned as they ’ ve matured as bass players .
So , all you bassists , read on and geek out as we chat gear ( of course ), finding the right part for the song , fitting into new bands , lessons learned , and much more with an outstanding group of bass players .
