iCON Pro Audio has released
the QCon Pro G2 USB-MIDI
controller station, the next-
generation version of its full-featured,
eight-channel universal control surface
The QCon Pro G2 sports nine motorized faders –
eight channel faders plus one master fader – each 100
mm in length and featuring 10-bit resolution, allowing for
small and accurate adjustment. Also featured are eight multi-
purpose push encoders, each surrounded by 11 LEDs, which light up to
indicate relative position of rotation. The 78 assignable buttons include illu-
minated channel record, solo, mute, and select, as well as six illuminated Transport
buttons (Play, Stop, Rec, Rewind, Fast Forward, and Loop); a Jog shuttle wheel; and two
External Controls connections on 1/4-in. TRS jacks; furthermore, 12-segment LED level meters
are provided for each channel, and a large backlit LCD shows channel names and parameter values.
A 12-segment LED display is also provided for SMPTE or MIDI beat clock information.
The QCon Pro G2 supports Mackie Control and HUI emulation to control the user’s DAW and comes complete with overlays for most
popular DAWs.
