TECH TOOLS RedPine Music is a concert crowdfunding platform created in Toronto that handles the booking and ticket distribution for small and mid-sized concerts. On the RedPine platform, venues post available dates and set the requirements for a show to be booked on that date – either a minimum headcount or a fixed venue fee. Artists select the venue and date they want to play, create a campaign, and get pledges from their fans to purchase tickets. If the campaign meets the venue’s requirements, RedPine automatically books the artist to the selected partner venue, handling all ticket distribution digitally. This way, organizers only book shows that are guaranteed to generate revenue, artists are guaranteed a timeslot they may not have been able to book otherwise, and fans support their favourite up-and-coming artists and see them play live. www.redpinemusic.com.
